@plsburydoughboy yeah back in the 80s a lot of games were on cassette, so you'd plop in a cassette to record a signal on the radio (i assume, i was far far far too young to do any of this haha) and bam, you had a pirated game

@telecrush Not sure where this article says anything about pirated games, but yes, there were entire radio shows and television programs broadcast with the intention of distributing (usually public domain) software
